This app has been developed by the NSW Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS). The NSW RFS recommends users of the app do not rely solely on the information provided in the app. In an emergency always rely on other communication channels such as websites, information lines and local radio. Check your state or territory’s fire agency website for more details.

Ratings and reviews

Great looking and functioning app, but 3 things I'd like to see. * ability to set up watch zones (eg 5km radius from both home and current location), * ability to filter list view by state, and * only active incidents displayed. This is the best alternative to the old EmergencyAUS app, those 3 functions would make it the perfect alternative.

The app isn't up to date, nor is it accurate. No red icons at all but we know mass evacuations and a state of emergency have been called. Some areas show no fire when whole towns have been evacuated. No way to set or search specific locations. Wouldn't want to rely on this app.

A good, simple to use app with valuable information for emergencies. If I have one complaint, it would be useful to filter different threat levels - hiding "not applicable" alerts would make it easier to see real threats.
