This app replaces the built-in Phonebook Access Profile (PBAP) on many phones and fixes some known problems. Please visit http://www.android-rsap.com/bluetooth-phonebook.html for more details and compatibility list.
Additionally this app implements Bluetooth IrMC/SYNCH profile needed by older car kits from Nokia and VW. IrMC/SYNCH profile only transfers contact data, no call lists.
Bluetooth Detection is an add-on app for Tasker or Locale that lets you set conditions based on connected or nearby Bluetooth devices.
If you want to try before you buy, now there's a free trial version that you can use without limits for 30 days. If you want to test the functionality before you buy, try it out and see!
Please note: this is a plug-in. You MUST have either Locale or Tasker installed for this to work. It is built as a plug-in for either of these, and will never function on its own. If you don't understand what Locale or Tasker are, then please do not install this plug-in.
When you use Bluetooth Detection within Tasker or Locale, you can create a profile that lets you act upon Bluetooth connections or nearby devices. For example, you can use Locale to start playing music when a connection is made to your car's Bluetooth audio profile, or enable work mode when near your work laptop.
Tasker users might ask, "So what makes this different from the native functionality in Tasker?" The answer is mainly "ease of use" - not everyone wants to type in a MAC ID :). But there are also some features that I think are unique. Some examples: you can select class of device, so that (for instance) any A2DP connection triggers a task, or you can specify that you only care about a connection to your car's BT when it's the Hands-Free profile. You can also set a delay on unsetting the condition, and all of this is done in a very user-friendly interface. And you also get a local Tasker Variable with the name of the last connected device.
Note for Tasker Users: Once installed, you can find Bluetooth Detection by going to Profiles, and adding a "State" condition. Within the pop-up that appears, you will see a button labeled "Plugin." Tap that, and you will see "Bluetooth Detection."
for certain HTC/Samsung/Sony/... phones. May need ROOT access!

This app implements the Bluetooth SIM Access Profile as supported by car kits from Volkswagen, Skoda, Audi, Porsche, Opel etc. Simply start the app once to start the background service. Then you should be able to connect to your car kit.
This tool can scan for surrounding visible bluetooth devices. It shows the device type, supported services and the signal strength. It can also be used to locate a device based on the signal strength. Devices like Headsets are usually only visible during the pairing phase. Thus you might not be able to track your lost headset even if it is still connected.
*** PLEASE NOTE: Devices with Android below 4.3 can not be supported by the new features. You will receive the last working version before the changes. Any other device with Android 4.3 or higher will receive the new features like new UI and LE scanning. I am sorry for any inconvenience caused by the last updates. ***
- Support for Bluetooth LE scanning (including LE attributes and characterstics)
- Database support. All scanned devices are now stored in a database and can be reviewed. Stored data includes the time a device is first seen and when it was last seen.
- List currently paired devices
- Scan for visible devices
- Shows Device Name, BDADDR (like MAC), Class of Device, Vendor and Signal Strength
- Query SDP services from devices
- Query Bluetooth LE attributes and characteristics
- Pair / Unpair to devices
The Database can be exported to a csv file on the external storage. Filename is: btcrawler-.csv
The csv has the following order: Device Name, Device Address, Class of Device, Pairing Status, Last Signal Strength, First Time Seen, Last Time Seen, Vendor.
The Database can also be wiped. For both functions hit the menu button.
Over the time I will add more features as I find more ways to mangle the API a bit more.

Just launch this app and it will quickly switch your Bluetooth mode and close itself.
Save battery life & block hackers.
If you already have Bluetooth on, launching this app will switch it off. If off, launching this app turns it on.
NEW: A2DP Keepalive Support. Your A2DP speakers/receiver go to sleep when not playing music, but being connected? The next usage is going weird? With A2DP support you can prohibit your A2DP speakers/receiver from going to standby. Speakers will give a regular sound to prevent standby mode.

Before you buy, please check on this website, if BTKA can really help you:
Some Samsung smartphones have activated "energy saving" mode. Please be sure to turn it off (Maybe test before buying BTKA, if that already helps you). BTKA does not need "root" - only the rights requested by the Market.
After installation start BTKA manually. It registers with Android™ and will from now on start automatically whenever you restart your Android™. After starting the app there is a "Configuration" button (visible for 2 seconds), with that you can change the configuration settings for notifications and the starting-behaviour of BTKA. For hints on how to configure BTKA correctly see the check page above.

It is intended to be used with hardware keyboards (i.e. bluetooth keyboards), to stop the software keyboard from opening and taking away half of the screen.
Additionally it improves system performance as it frees up resources that would normaly be used by a software keyboard (layout, dictionarys etc.).
This app is a 'must-have' for people who regularly use an extra keyboard with their android tablet. While they cannot uninstall the system keyboards, they can unload them from system memory by choosing Null Keyboard as current keyboard.
A widget is included to allow easy switching between Null Keyboard and others.
This is not a driver and will not make your bluetooth keyboard work and neither will it break anything. Don't complain that it doesnt make your bluetooth keyboard work, because that is not its purpose.
Password recovery feature using SMS is included.
No more hassle with password that needs to be entered every now and then.
Due to some technical issues this is a new app. Upgrade is not available for you who got BLUETOOTH AND WIFI UNLOCKER F.
This is the full version of BtWiFiUnlocker supporting also latest Android 4.3 and 4.4.
Please drop me an email with your comments and questions before you comment and rate this application.
Uninstall the free version(not available any more at Play Store) and/or the old full version (up to 5.x.x) before installing the full one (7.x.x).
After upgrade use "force stop" within the app.
The use of the Android Lock Screen mechanism protects against unauthorized use of your phone.
A disadvantage of the lock mechanism is that you need to provide your password as soon as the screen dims.
By using the BtWifiUnlocker (Bluetooth and Wifi Unlocker) your phone automatically unlocks the screen password when connecting to your selected Wifi network(s)
and/or Bluetooth device(s).
By default Auto Login is disabled. If the device is locked then the screen password is required to unlock the screen. The phone will stay unlocked as long as it is connected to the selected WiFi network or Bluetooth. From V3.x.x Auto Login is supported (via menu -> Security)
When the device is being disconnected from a Wifi network, it takes around 50 seconds before the screen gets lock.
Important notes to Android 4.x – BtWiFiUnlocker will not work if you have other application which forces you to set a pin or a password. For instance, Mail program configured with Exchange ActiveSync.
- To change the password or pin you MUST use the password tab within BtWiFiUnlocker. If you change the password or pin via Settings -> Security -> Screen lock then BtWiFiUnlocker might change it back!
Uninstalling BtWiUnlocker on Android 4.x
Select Settings -> Security -> Device administrators
Now select -> Deactivate
Now you can uninstalling it the normal way.
You are welcome with any question or problem regarding this application – please send me mail.

How to use Bluetooth Pair? Simple, make sure your Android device can handle at least one of those mentioned Bluetooth profiles (A2DP or/and HSHFP), go to "Bluetooth Settings" ("Settings" -> "Wireless & networks" -> "Bluetooth Setting" or "Settings" -> "Bluetooth"). Pair with the desired device (a car audio system for example) and make sure you can enable or disable the Bluetooth profiles. The way this is done varies from device to device, see your owners manual.
Ok, so you can handle at least one Bluetooth profile and your Android device is configured and working to pair with your desired Bluetooth device. Now do a long touch on your home screen to choose the widget and then select Bluetooth Pair, select a Bluetooth Profile, select a paired Bluetooth device and that's it. An icon with the name of your device will appear on the home screen. When the profile is turned on the icon will be colorful otherwise black & white. Toggle on/off the Bluetooth profile by touching on the widget. You can have many Bluetooth Pair widgets on your home screen.
- Make sure your device can handle at least one of those mentioned Bluetooth profiles.
- Some devices may require at least once a PIN number to get paired, when that happens an input PIN screen will appear.
- The widget has been tested on Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich using phones from Samsung, Sony and Motorola.
In case of bugs, questions or requests please send me an e-mail.
Unlike similar applications Bluetooth Management allows the user to choose how long the Bluetooth should stay on each time it enables the Bluetooth. Bluetooth Management displays a timer in the notification letting you know exactly how long before it will disable the Bluetooth. This gives the user the ability to cancel the timer to keep the Bluetooth enabled.
Custom timers allow you to set a specific time on how long the Bluetooth should stay on if a Bluetooth Headset or Device is not connected. So if you don't have your Headset with you, it can turn off the Bluetooth before your call ends saving your precious battery life.
Special options like "Stay Connected" will keep your Bluetooth on after your Headset has connected even after your call ends. This will allow you make another call or jump back to playing music without having to reconnect your headset.
Bluetooth Management is also aware of wired headsets. If it detects that a wired headset with microphone is connected at the time of a call, it won't bother turn on the Bluetooth.
Most importantly Bluetooth Management wants to help you save your battery life. It monitors the device for when it reaches a critical battery level and can stop automatically turning on your Bluetooth and even disable it even if you have a Bluetooth headset connected. Unlike some other similar applications Bluetooth Management does not create any long running services to monitor your device. So it won’t be eating up precious CPU and Battery by running this application.

The sole purpose of this App is to prevent Bluetooth Audio Devices, such as speakers, from turning off when no audio is playing. For example if you have a Bluetooth speaker that you always want to be on and connected, but the speaker turns it self off after a certain amount of time this program should stop that auto turn off. Additionally Tasker plug-in support has been included to allow for automated turning on and off of this service.
Simply make sure the Bluetooth Audio Device is paired & connected to your Bluetooth equipped Android device and activate the Bluetooth Keep Alive by opening the app and pressing the toggle button. Your audio device should not auto-turn off now as long as you are within range of them and the Bluetooth connection remains active. This is mainly useful for alarm clocks / Bluetooth docks, or Bluetooth speakers.
Also this program has been used to prevent Goggle Maps Navigation audio cues from being cut off during navigation. This was accomplished by using a short time delay like .1-.08 minutes.
(similar to Bluetooth Launch, but can unlock your phone and allows multiple searches too)
Problem? Please contact me over issues before leaving a negative comment at firstname.lastname@example.org (dev's address below) I respond quickly and will surely attempt to fix things asap
Works well? Please share with the rest of us the brand and model of both your phone and headset in a short comment. You are also encouraged to help fellow handset owners in this forum: http://goo.gl/OAJ0Bh
A little history
►Version 1.03 brings improved second button press detection ("Fight for mic") and "Protect in Pocket" mode to prevent unwanted screen touches when phone is woken up in the pocket.
►Keyguard unlocking is reported to be fixed in v1.04 for Lollipopped Nexus users.
►If previous versions couldn't unlock your phone, I'd suggest to try the new 1.05 version
►Unless you own an LG or Samsung, you might need to manually disable carrier/manufacturer preinstalled voice dialing software
►Install Hint2Search → Open it
►[Samsungs/LGs: press "Disable S/Voice/Command" and follow instructions]
►Select whether keyguard should be bypassed (non-secure "swipe lock" only! → use Lollipop SmartLock to skip security)
►Press the button on the Headset
►Select Hint2Search (NOT GOOGLE SEARCH!) in the "Complete action using..." dialog box
and that is it: you are good to go
Hint2Search will only unlock the non-secure keyguard (such as the default swipe to unlock). Use the app Dislock, SkipLock or the SmartLock lollipop feature to unlock your phone as long as it's connected to the headset. http://goo.gl/VB7cD3 or http://goo.gl/6mEKAD
Similar to Bluetooth Launcher, but:
►you can issue multiple searches
►it can unlock the keyguard
►optional screen protection will prevent accidental screen touches in pocket
IT'S ORIGINALLY MADE FOR THE HINT, BUT REPORTED TO ALSO WORK WITH:
►Sony Ericsson HBH-DS200
►Car Bluetooth system with Galaxy Tab 3
(Please let us know if you successfully test a headset model not yet on the list. Remember, it's worth a try, refund is automatic within 2 hours, just shoot me an email with your order number if outside)
Join this Google Group for beta versions, Q&A and bug reports: https://groups.google.com/forum/?hl=en#!forum/hint2search-beta-testers (Touchless Notification integration is coming soon in the beta!)
Note: With the Play Store auto-refund window extension to 2 hours I don't see the need for a trial version. Please check to see if Hint2Search solves it for you, and be sure even if you go beyond the 2 hours I give unconditional refunds within a week of your purchase.
In order to help you to answer your calls on time, this application uses an exclusive method to accelerate, as much as possible, the process of connecting to your handsfree device.
When you receive a call, the application will activate your bluetooth and quickly will connect to your handsfree if you are near it. Once connected, optionally, a voice will read the name of the contact who is calling you.
In order to start a call, if you want to dial from the application, only open it and select with a single click the contact to dial within the three lists of contacts availables (Frequent, Favorites y All). Or alternatively, click the Voice Dialing button and say the name of the contact to dial. Optionally, the BT can be enabled also when you initiate calls from any other applications.
If instead, you want to dial from the controls of your Handsfree, just put your phone upside down, and turn the screen on momentarily (no need to even unlock). In this way, your Bluetooth will be activated for a few minutes, and you may start your call from the controls of your car.
- Quick connect to handsfree
- Incoming call contact reading, with configurable voice volume
- Bluetooth activation without unlocking your phone (turning on the phone upside down)
- Speed dial (only a single click)
- Frequent contacts list
- Favorite contacts list
- All contacts list
- Voice Dialing, by just saying:
- Contact name
- Part of the contact name
- Contact name and phone number type
- Digits to dial
- Reading of the contact to be called, with configurable voice volume
- Option to respect the previous state of Bluetooth (it will not be deactivated if it was activated)
- Configurable Bluetooth volume
- Option to wait a few minutes before turning the Bluetooth off again
- Battery saving
- Reduction of electromagnetic waves around
- User-friendly application with tabs design
To check whether the application is compatible with your phone and your Handsfree device, before making the purchase, you can try the Demo version of the application: http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jmpdroids.mybluetoothhandsfree.free
Due to the huge variety of Android devices, and also huge variety of bluetooth handsfree devices on the market, it is tremendously difficult to get applications like these work in all of them the first time.
For this reason, I ask you that if you find any errors, instead of using Google Play comments that do not allow me to contact you, please, use the "Send Message" option built into the application, or alternatively send an email to email@example.com, detailing your case as much as possible. Thanks!
