Bad habit breaker and tracker app.

Whenever you find yourself choosing something you know is bad for you, simply press the 'Bad Choice' button.

Don't worry too much about "doing better" or "being better". This app helps you build awareness around your bad choices, so that you automatically tend to make fewer in time. It's a different way to break bad habits.

With each bad choice, log what you chose, and the thoughts urging you on. Track your choices over time, and discover trends and patterns; also find correlation with other events in your life.

Privacy info: The app's data is stored only in the app's private storage, on the local device only, though it gets backed up to Google Drive if backups are enabled. There is an advanced option to export your data.

Ratings and reviews

After looking at several other similar applications, I'm very pleased with this one. It's especially useful to me to be able to track numbers of incidents per day, rather than only whether or not it occurred on a given day, like so many other apps. Minor quibbles and suggestions for improvement: I wish the widget was smaller (1x1) and 2) there is a problem with widget in that it gets inactivated frequently (even though I've set Android to not turn it off).

I really like the potential of this app! It was clearly developed with good sense and a clear goal, and I love how simple but detailed and customisable it is. The fact that there are no predatory elements (ads, annoying things you can't edit, etc) are a rare and important benefit! This makes me hope that it will be updated in the future. The underlying functionality is there, but the main issue is UI/making it clear exactly how to do things. Some screens are a bit dense/tricky to understand.

I have the app for a couple of hours, I ran through it, and this is the first app, where I myself looked up the review page to give 5 star! Great concept, straightforward implementation, and a nobel incentive, thank you! Private and ad free. One thing though, I was sure I will find a widget with a huge bad choice button to put it on the home screen. Do you plan a feature like this? Hopefully not much effort and will make it a bit easier to log and a bit harder to sweep things under the carpet.
