Excellent demo, I used this app in a middle school demo relating middle school math concepts to real applications like image processing. I should note that I pinged Barry to ask permission to use his app as part of demo and he gave his ok and even sent me the code.
Great demo I noticed that during face detection it lost my face if I rotated the screen. Probably not worth fixing due to process speeds though...
Very nice demo Very nice demo to show off the capabilities openCV provides! You should consider putting up the source on GitHub or BitBucket.
Nice demos If the frontal camera is enabled then image displayed on the screen is rotated by 180 for some reason.
Can't change mode Not sure there are other way. Tried everything. Can't change to other mode like canny edge detector. Asus ZenFone 5
Too slow Even BGR preview has 5 FPS, other tests are so slow that it's hardly usable.
2.11 Small fixes
2.1 Added optical flow.
2.0 First release of this version, written for OpenCV2.4.4 Manager and Android 4.2.
Changes from the earlier version: Hough lines, circles and Canny edges now on separate menu options; face detect now copies the largest face in view to the top left of the screen, then if it is not the same as the previous largest face, it saves it to the Pictures director; RGB separate channel view now removed.
Handle the mobile trough the face movement captured by the frontal camera.
