I've just updated the app. When I was watching a program, there were several times the images paused, and then the audio wouldn't sync anymore to the images shown. The audio would be heard a few seconds later than the images seen. I kept on rewinding the video, it would do the trick, but it would pause again. It's so annoying! I've lost my interest in watching the program and using the app!

App is fine to watch one off shows, but lacks basic functionality to be useful. We wanted to download some shows for our 3 year old to watch on long car journeys, but you have to manually select each episode to download. Then when the episode finishes playing it doesn't automatically play the next, so when kids shows are only 10m you have to start a new episode manually every 10m....

Recent updates have made the app buggy. Sometimes you need to load another casting app like Netflix before iPlayer will show the cast icon. The Android app also doesn't track what I've been watching correctly so you can't just pick up where you left off with the next episode or part way through one. This does seem ok on Android TV so clearly an issue with the mobile app. They really need to look at the QA process for future updates.
