About this game

Based on an original idea by Wakatoon.

Oufti the squirrel and Mimi the butterfly live in the forest. Through a short cartoon, they present the cycle of wood. The particularity ? It is up to your child to make the drawings that will be displayed! With augmented reality, watch together Oufti and Mimi come to life with your child's artistic style, and then follow their incredible adventure from the forest to our homes. During their journey, they will discover the world of the forest, the animals that live there, the people who work there and the way in which the wood that grows there is transformed.

Step 1: Color

Go to the website www.leboisanime.be to download all the characters and sets related to Le bois animated. Make sure you have the necessary materials and, for the rest, your child can let his imagination run wild. Everything is allowed: colored pencils, markers, watercolor, gouache, collages, and even modeling clay textures! Overtaking is permitted. You can even leave blanks or just scribbles!

Step 2: Photograph

Once the drawings are done, open this application and go to the augmented reality tool. Choose the drawing corresponding to the coloring to integrate. Lay the drawings flat and well exposed to the light, then frame the screen so that the image of the application and the coloring are well matched. Once you are satisfied with the result, you can move on to viewing!

Step 3: Discover the wood cycle with Oufti and Mimi

Launch the cartoon available on the application. Your child's drawings have been integrated and come alive before your eyes! The film is available directly, although not everything has been colored yet. And new designs can be added at any time.

The cartoon tells the incredible adventure of Oufti the squirrel and Mimi the butterfly, from the forest to our homes. We discover the world of the forest, the animals that live there, the people who work there, etc. The cartoon thus addresses various themes such as biodiversity, the sustainable management of our forests or the transformation of wood.
