It's all right. I prefer light background with dark text, and I haven't figured out a way to change the menu button colour. If you set the background to grey, they become invisible and I have to memorise their position or randomly stab my finger at the screen. It would be nice if the text colour change also changed the menu button outline. It's still my preferred text editor because there's no ads and no invasive permissions :)
Really enjoy the good-looking simplicity and smoothness. I really love this app a lot over other similar ones I've tried. This is perfect for me - no fancy frills or annoying email sign-ups, etc. yet it still looks modern and sleek. It works dependably well, too. Two things though: (1) I wish you could hold down titles in the recent documents sidebar and select to delete individual documents from your recent history. (2) I also wish you could choose in settings what default file format to save as. I prefer to save all my files as .rtf instead of .txt because it's way more comprehensive when reading/transferring my files on my computer, other devices, or sending to others.
Is what it says it is, does what it says it does The app is noted to be in beta but is very functional. Support for markdown would be nice to have some control over display but still effectively remain plain text. External XD card support would be a nice feature add. The "pointless" tab on the left as another reviewer noted is actually the "most recent" list, a nice feature to have this early. I did a force stop and the app still re-opened where I left it, double thumbs up there!
Overall, good. One problem... After the latest phone update for my galaxy s5 I can't see the cursor anymore, which makes this pretty hard to use. I like the setup of the app, but this problem makes it hard to continue using it for the time being.
Very usefully. V1.0 "Build 21 - Fixed state saving after canceling out of the save dialog - Added long click in the open dialog to allow rename and delete of files ". On HTC ONE [m7] Vodafone 4g, Android 5.0.2. Sense 6.0. SmartLauncher 3.24.11F(beta).
Folders. I use this app on my Proscan Tablet for writing poetry and stories. I like it, but how do you make your own folder? I did it once before on accident and now I can't remember how I did it. If I could make my own folders? This would be an awesome app.
