Great I have a very early Nook tablet. Alas it is not long for this world. I also have a Nexus 7, but have not used the Nook app much because I have over 1,500 books, and trying to organize them is just too messy. Thank you for this nicely updated app. Thank you for your continued commitment to customer service. Well the Nook died. Is mourned. Replaced the Nexus7 only because of no sd card. The Nook app is great on my Samsung Tab Pro S2. Now all of my books are saved and organized. Great reader.
Good overall I've owned a nook e-reader for a couple years now and have been very satisfied. This nook app allowed me to tap into my library on my tablet as well. Would be nice if I could sync my reader and my tablet, though. UPDATE: my tablet and phone sync nicely now. If I am reading a book on one and then pick up the other it prompts me that I ma farther ahead in the story and let's me jump right to the point of most recent reading. Added the extra star for that.
A Good eReader app with versatility. First Kindle. Now nook. You can no longer export books purchased from nook to read on other devices unless you have the nook app installed on that device. Pardon me, but if I pay for something, it should be mine to use it in any (legal) way I wish. Of course, I could go through the illegal process of removing DRM but I'm not willing to go that far when there are other vendors.
Could be so much better It's so difficult to find and download books from my library that aren't the most recent 30. I know it is possible to find these titles but they bury it in menus in a place you wouldn't think to look and then when you download them, it bumps other titles to this no man's land. I liked it better before the update when the thumbnails for everything was under the library heading and you could download and read a few at a time but still have access to all titles.
I love the Nook ap very much I have it installed on my android phone and my Kindle Fire! I have had this app for several years starting with my 1st Nook tablet. I love the set up of Archiving my books on shelves for future reference and use. I have taken advantage of the "free" books dozens of times. I have encountered new authors that I wouldn't have chosen on my own. I love the "bookmark" and I have had too use the "look up" word feature more urban a time or two!
well needed upgrade facelift?!?? I somehow lost all my books on my phone. All the other devices are fine. I don't know how to fix this. I use a password protected going program its in all other devices. It's making me nutty. NOW MY BOOKS ARE GONE ON ON THIS DEVICE ALSO, NOW!!! I TOOK AWAY TWO STARS, I WILL RETURN THEM WHEN YOU MAKE IT CLEAR HOW WE MIGHT DO THIS AND HOW TO CLEARLY FIX IT. CURRENTLY THERE SEEMS TO BE NO WAY TO GET THE BOOKS I OWN BACK.
