Founded by ACASPU (Community Association of Friends of São Pedro da União) radio União FM, went on the air on November 18, 1997 on an experimental basis.

On January 1, 1998, the station officially and definitively debuted its programming schedule. From there, it revolutionized the municipality, bringing joy, entertainment, live broadcasts, interviews, vaccination campaigns and others, providing services in: death notes, missing animals, documents and lost objects, announcements of parties in communities, meetings, public events and cultural information, public utility notes, electoral registry, health information, etc.

Since its foundation, “união fm, community broadcaster of São Pedro da União” maintains the same line of service, entertainment and information to the Sãopedrense community.
