About this app

Docentia is Via Bella's app for homeschooling families.

It's where mothers who teach their own children find others on the same path, save what they've learned, and carry Via Bella materials in their pockets.

THE COMMUNITY

A feed of real people: the chapter your daughter read in its entirety for the first time, the day that wasn't productive, the activity that finally worked. No showboating, no performance.

Groups by topic — Literacy, Between Books, Grammar, Projects, Via Domus — where one person's question becomes an answer for others. And private conversations, when the topic is just between two people.

THE EDUCATIONAL RECORD

Each child has their own record: age, stage, how they learn, what they like.

The daily record includes a title, subject, what happened, and a photo. It's saved by date, can be searched later, and is available as a PDF when you need to show what was done during the year.

PLANNING

The week is structured day by day, with units, lessons, and the steps of each class — theory, reading, exercises, handwriting, writing.

What's left behind appears in red and disappears from the list when it becomes a record. You can see the entire month or just what's left today.

ISA

Isa is Via Bella's intelligence, trained on the materials from home. You tell her the day, and she transforms it into a record. Ask her how to explain division with remainders, and she answers in the home way — not with a generic text from the internet.

THE VILLAS

Homeschooling doesn't have to be a solitary endeavor. The Villas are in-person gatherings between families in the same region: the children play, the mothers chat.

You can find Villas near you, request to participate, or apply to coordinate your own.

THE LIBRARY

All the Via Bella materials you already have are here, organized by stage and subject, with modules and lessons available to your account.

ALSO IN THE APP

Notifications of what happened while you were away. Achievements, to see your progress. Support from the Via Bella team, by topic, directly in the app.

FOR WHOM IT'S FOR
Mothers and teachers who homeschool, from the first stroke to the final composition. Homeschooling, afterschool programs, and those who supplement schooling.

The app requires a Docentia account and an active plan.
