The Jornal Ólá Sorocaba was born in 2010 with the aim of bringing information to the population of Sorocaba, mainly in the East Zone, so much so that the periodical was born with the name Hello Sorocaba Zona Leste.
The first editions of Hello Sorocaba were in the tabloid format and later in the Berliner format. Currently the newspaper is printed on special dates in tabloid format, which makes it easier to read.
While many printed newspapers have disappeared, Hello Sorocaba understands that reading is important, mainly because the newspaper's target audience is residents of the East Zone, which has a large number of elderly people.
IN THE VIRTUAL WORLD
Following the global trend of globalization through the Internet, Hello Sorocaba is now online, with a website suitable for reporting day-to-day facts, but also counting on columnists who cover various subjects, such as: health, education, rights of consumer, quality of life, safety and other important topics for the population to be well informed, always respecting the reader.
Since its first edition, Hello Sorocaba has excelled in listening to the population. In its pages demands from the city's residents were published, showing that a newspaper has to choose the side of the citizens, seeking the best for everyone, without defending one side.
