The Brito FM Community Broadcasting Association was founded in January 2024 by residents and enthusiasts of community communication, with the purpose of implementing and operating a community broadcasting service in the municipality of Campo do Brito, Sergipe State.
On November 12, 2025, through Ordinance No. 20,051 of October 10, 2025, from the Ministry of Communications, the station received authorization for the 87.9 MHz frequency, consolidating an important step towards strengthening local communication.
Brito FM 87.9's mission is to provide quality information, entertainment, services, and promote social development, valuing the culture and interests of the Brito community.
The studios and administrative headquarters of the Association are located at Rua José Oliveira Alcântara, No. 140, Centro, Campo do Brito – SE.
