I was a bit skeptical about trying Zoetropic at first as I'd been using Vimage (free version) and thought it wouldn't be anything like as good at motion effects but I'm really pleasantly surprised by how much you can do even in the free version and the cost of Pro is WAY more reasonable than Vimage. Definitely I would recommend if you're looking for an affordable but effective way of adding movement and effects (and audio) to your images.

I purchased the full app in 2018 so I could use all the features. They decided to make it a monthly payment recently so the features I paid for were removed because of this new monthly subscription. Not worth the monthly price and feels like a scam how they sold it to me as a one time purchase and now all of a sudden its a recurring payment.

This is a great app used correctly. As a photographer I don't use it on every image, but used sparingly and for fun it really makes for some exciting eye catchers. How you use it matters, but this is a great app. I wish it allowed me to use my own graphic overlays, or create some to share. I'll have to look into that. Fair price, a lot added to the app and they just keep improving it.
