I'd recommend this to anyone with media scanner issues. This app helped me rescan my external SD card, so that it appears in music players and gallery apps. For anyone on Lineage OS with the media scanner problem, this app is perfect! BTW, I think I know why a lot of people've 1-starred this: they think it's a file recovery app. It's not. It just scans the SD card just as it says!

It really helped me! What could be nicer is the option to mark folders for the scan instead of providing just one path (even when I did privide one, some other folders from whole different path were included in the scan).
