This is sooo close to being perfect for me. The app does exactly what it says. Let's you figure out how much weight is on your bar or it tells you what plates to put on your bar. The UI looks clean. My gym has 15lb plates but that is not supported. It would be great to be able to add custom plate sizes. Also, the app prevents the use of the back button so I have to close it manual. Other than that, very functional
Functional 4 stars since it reliably does what it is supposed to. That fifth star is reserved for when the app has been given a nicer UI. Looks really old school
No customizable plate sizes Can't add a plate, such as a 15lb. Can't switch to a 0lb single bar, for loading a calf raise with an odd number of plates. Too bright, needs a dark theme with black background. Long obnoxious intro screen when you are trying to get started, it should automatically calculate after inputting a weight and pressing done; the further need to press solve is pointless.
Exactly As It Says And Does Been looking for this for a long time thank you for saving me headaches! Now I don't have to spend 5 plus minuets counting plates and possibly missing weights because i'm trying to hurry to get things together! Thank you much!
Works This was the third application I downloaded trying to get a simple counter for weights on and off the bar. This app does it. I have deleted the other 2 apps. I, like others, wish it had a 15lb weight and that the back button cleared the app instead of the home key.
I'm not totally math illiterate but when I'm working out I'd just like to get the plates on and lift while I'm still in the zone / pumped. This takes care of the mental math part quite nicely.
Ver 1.1 - Text clarifications in the barbell loading calculator, and re-coloring of weight buttons.
Ver 1.0 - App is avaliable!
