I have corrected my review since I had just tried to reinstall the app and it seems to work fine. I am still disappointed that due to an update my app completely crashed. I couldn't find it anywhere in my phone except by searching it in the app store. map wasn't working very good(still doesn't work exceptionally well) and notifications never happened. I reinstalled it and am now waiting to test the pointless update. whatever happened to don't fix it if it ain't broken?

The app stalls and blocks at every step. The map does not work most of the time. Any option which calls for the use of the keyboard, such as search function gets the keyboard to behave erratically. Considering the app is a vital safety feature paid for by our tax money, this is Criminal. There is another more useful and stable app made by a Volunteer.

this app used to work fine in previous years. but now as of 2025, it is in useable on my Samsung s23. worked great on my Samsung s9. Not sure if it is the same quality on other platforms. The map which is the most important part doesn't work at all and you can't zoom in or select fires to look at

What’s new

Release 2.4.1 emphasizes that the best sources for information on evacuations and local fire bans are the responsible municipalities, First Nations, or local authorities. This update also includes several bug fixes and overall performance enhancements. Ensure you re-add your saved locations if you are a returning user.
