Very easy to use and book appointments. Has all the dates and clinic locations. Also, no need for a physical card as you can login to your account. Only issue that I have noticed is you need to give permission to your phone contacts for the app to add an appointment to calendar. Which kinda doesn't make any sense.

In this email I have been asked to give blood before the Canada Day long weekend, but I just gave last Friday. CBS should not solicit me if I am not eligible. Yes I would to follow where my blood goes but I am at a loss as to how to go about that as as tbis email does not tell me. I could not open my profile.

It's a good app but maybe add a screen after you schedule an appointment that tells you that you can do the questionnaire online so that you can skip that process once you get there.

Seems like a good idea, but I can't actually book through the app. Apparently there are no clinics between July and October within 250 km of Edmonton.

Hi there... The reason the app needs access to your contacts is just to allow it to get the account for the calendar in order to add the appointments. Nothing else is done with contacts after that. Hi...if you want to send us an email at feedback@blood.ca with your email and donor info then we can look into this for you...sounds like you have a duplicate record as that email also went out to prospects, we always scrub those who have donated out so you don't receive too many emails. We'd like to help you asap! Hi Ryan...we have many of clinics then...if you have your first appointment booked and have not donated before, it will show no future clinics as you need to donate once before you can book more appointments. Log out and search, you should find what you are looking for. If it doesn't work email us at feedback@blood.ca. Tx! Virginia It's a great app, definitely room for improvement though. I have tried several times to add my donor ID number and it won't accept it. I always get an error message now it says my donor ID does not match their records.Some help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Kayla...We may have different profile information in our system which is why there is a mismatch.
Best to give us a call at 1 888 2 DONATE or visit blood.ca to use Live Chat and we can look into it for you! It can't find any clinics, I try to set up an appointment and since it won't find a clinic it won't let me.

Thanks Kelly! Would not take my alphanumeric donor ID number as other people have noted. Rather than forcing people to take another manual step, why not accept all registered donors and provide their new numeric donor ID?
Have some issues with finding clinics, freezes or gets stuck. But much more useful than previous version
Doesn't work. I tried to put in my donor number but it wouldn't let me. I have a letter in front of my number and there no keys for letters. It wouldn't let me find a clinic, favorite a clinic, book appointments and it kept logging me out. It does very little besides take up space.

If you are logged in and not yet eligible, try moving the dates and/or distance out on your search parameters. Because some of our mobile clinics are further apart in dates than others that can be a reason for low results or if you are not yet eligible. V. Solid app, but has room for improvement. It's missing some features that you can get on browser. I feel like digital awards/trophies would also help reward donators, and encourage them want to donate again(5 donations=trophy). Also an update on your blood donation's journeys would be great to see, Ex:if it went to research, a person in need or for funds , so I and others can really know where their donation is going, and how each donation helps. Overall, great layout, loads fast and has barely and bugs. I Hope to see CBS working hard to make upgrades to this app in the future!

Thanks for the feedback Cody! The birthday slider takes in a date, then inputs a different date! (day +1) This totally messed up my registration with Blood.ca that's irreversible unless I call it. This is one of the worst mistakes I have seen in an app.

Hi Kenneth...we are very sorry about that...we had a bug in the birthday selector that has now been fixed....please try it again. ~Virginia My first and middle name are both places in my first name spot, there doesn't seem to be a way to change it. It's obnoxious when I receive emails that say Eric Anthony.

The integration with my calendar is solid and reminds me appropriately without nagging. Keep developing this app! If you give blood, you'll appreciate it a lot.
It's showing me that the next clinics in my area are all 10 months away. I'm sure it's not true. Please fix the searching feature so we can book appointments.

We were loading all of our 2017/18 clinics around the time you were searching so it should be much better now with hundreds of choices. ~Virginia I love the app but it uses your ringtone as a notification sound, so I think I'm getting a phone call when it's something that I can ignore for another 43 days.

Great to hear! Thanks! ~Virginia Works fine App would benefit from sync-to-calendar functionality. Also it seems a little behind the times to absolutely require a "home phone" number when signing up for the app, even when you already have my (primary and only) cell number on file. Now the same number is populating both fields, which I'm just going to have to correct in person at the clinic. Just an fyi, your target demographic for this app hasn't had home landlines for years.

Hi Caeli....that is something we are working on as home phone is one of the fields that match for security. There is an add to calendar functionality but great idea on the sync. Thanks! ~Virginia Password problems The app allowed me to make the account when the password didn't match up. Now even if I reset the password, it's wrong. I have yet to sign in properly... Someone help please?

Hi Mark...we are definitely working on that! ~Virginia Can't move to SD Rating all apps I find that are not movable as one star. Easy fix for developer, I'll change it as soon as you do, your app is not so important to the system that it can't be on SD.
Verified? Not any more! For some unknown reason my account is now "unverified" (trust me, I haven't changed identities) and I've tried on numerous occasions to have an email sent to my account to verify with no success. My donor card no longer shows up either because of this. It just happens I luckily had my plastic card with me on a recent visit last week because I usually don't carry it. Not overly happy with this app's performance of late.

Cannot update donor card Downloaded the app and had someone else's address and birthday attached to my email address. Cannot correct the information without entering my donor card, and when imputing the donor card number it comes up as "cannot update donor card, please try again later or call 1-800- 2 donate. So I cannot see any information regarding my next appointment and cannot see how many days it has been since my last. Samsung Galaxy S5 on Android 6.0.1

Best to give us a call or visit blood.ca to use Live Chat and we'll fix you up! Improvements needed What is the point of the app if the donor card tab could not replace the physical card? Simply because it's not signed anywhere? It honestly doesn't make a difference for someone to swipe a signed card vs scanned a barcode. Also, can we have the function to do the screening survey on the app instead of doing it via the website? Just a thought.

Overall the app is quite nice but it would be much better if the donation questionnaire was integrated into the app. The integration would allow donors to easily pull up the completed questionnaire bar code and manage everything from the app.

Hi Brian. The donor card is available now in the app. Once you've added your donor number to your profile, you will see an option called Donor Card on the My Account screen. Won't recognize card number I've set up my account but it won't recognize my card number. I did just update everything at my last appointment but everything should be working now.

Hi Jamie...it sounds like you might have a duplicate account so for safety reasons, parts get locked. If you can email us at marketing@blood.ca with your donor info, we can look into it and sort it all out for you. New update won't let me update my email I opt to keep my current email as my login and it pops up with a message that confirms, but it won't go past that confirmation. Tried restarting the app, same issue.
