About this app

A tool to help farmers estimate changes to soil moisture on their fields in response to irrigation and natural processes (precipitation and evapotranspiration). The tool also makes irrigation suggestions, including scheduling suggestions.

Users are asked to provide information about their crop, soil, and irrigation system. The tool uses this information, along with weather data and weather forecasts to simulate changes in soil moisture.

Various kinds of irrigation systems are supported, including drip systems, centre pivot systems, travelling guns, stationary guns, wheel lines, hand lines and microsprinklers.

An account is required to use the app. Accounts are free and anyone can create one.
