Being able to see weekly calorie needs like a bank account balance allows me to make the best choices as to how I "spend" my calories. So far I have lost 4 lbs in 2 weeks:) I also exercise 2 to 3 x a week which I don't track. It's so hard for me to lose; watching it finally come off is amazing. Calories in calories out. Cherry pie and wine along with chili and salad are all over my diary;) I was skeptical but CI/CO is true! This app is indispensable. Update: I've lost 20lbs using this app:) Love this app. I would have lost more if I had not had lapses of using this app. I only lose when I track and this is the only app I can stick with. Started at 189 and now 169.
I love Poundaweek! After 6+ years of always trying to "lose 25-30 lbs" I finally decided, to take it one lb at a time. Short term goals are easier to reach! That's when I found this app. I love how you can scan items and search too. I wish for the quick add, I could add a name for stuff I eat, like certain meals I know the calorie amounts for. You still need to work and be conscious of what and how much you eat, but this app helps soo much! I'm down 12 lbs in 14 weeks! (I've went way over calories a few weeks...) Love this app! Some things I have learned in the lasy 14 weeks: I don't need to "clear my plate" no matter how good it tastes. I eat slow and start to feel full and I stop. It's not easy, but worth it! Also, no beer or alcohol during the week! Weekends only! Beer always makes me go over my calorie limit!! You have to make the right choices, on what you want to spend your calories on. You can do it!
LOVE this better than fitnesspal. Only thing, I would like to back log weight with date capability. I've lost weight prior to finding this app and can't log were I start weight wise.
I have used My Fitness pal for years and I stumbled onto this .I love it , so much better in my opinion
Love this app! So user friendly. I have had it for two weeks and have already lost 9 lb! Interface and charts are great. A lot of food is already loaded but the scanner feature really helps if it's not!
You can't use your own calories. The app will not transfer the calories you put in to the macro goals, it only allows you to change one or the other with it's preset diets.
