Minor issues Recently I have been having a lot of issues with the wearable app freezing and stopping. Not sure what's up, but when it loads, it is really the best app I have on my watch! Wish you could have back the feature to keep the screen on and the app in the foreground all the time so I don't have to tap the watch face and wait till I can swipe the controls. There were options on battery management to keep the screen on and dimmed similar to the screen always on feature in the OS.
Some tweaks? Working great! The tasker commands started working even with the watch asleep so l can now have the app launch truly contextually. I would propose some changes though. The card on top of the album art most of the time covers it and a ligt album makes the time unreadable. Instead I would like the art dimmed, maybe blurred, to make the metadata and time instead simply overlayed visible. The blur/dim value could even be customizable. At the very least I would like to change the alpha on the current cards.
Generally speaking I like this app. It works far better than the stock Google Music app for Android Wear because Google somehow thought it was a awesome idea to put the music controls on a separate screen. But here's the one problem that's really annoying me to no end but I suspect it's a Android Wear problem. I keep getting double music card notifications when I play a song from Music Boss on my smartwatch from the launcher screen. One notification for Music Boss and another for Google Music. Is there anyway to disable the Google Music card? I want Music Boss to be the default card on my watch. I don't want to see Google Music's card at all. Ever. I've checked the settings and checked around online for a way to do this but there doesn't seem to be a way. Am I missing something or are we really stuck with dual music notifications on the smartwatch launcher screen because Android Wear is still a mess? Other than that, Music Boss is probably the best app I've downloaded for Android Wear. It just makes sense whereas other smartwatch apps are trying to solve a problem to a question no one asked and no one cares about.
Killer music control I love this app. I have it on all day long. So nice to control volume and skipping with gestures without even needing to look down. Stays open in ambient mode so you don't need to navigate back to the remote control function every time you'd like to change something like you do on the stock media control app. Very highly recommended!
Works with Rhapsody I looked hard for an app to control Rhapsody. This works great. The UI takes getting used to, but I definitely recommend it to all. Using a Moto 360.
Just what I was looking for. Works great with mediamonkey.
