Using your Network access permissions, the My Shaw app will:
• View connection information and see available Wi-Fi connections to enable the app to connect to the Wi-Fi network;
• Detect the network state, read the device status, detect running apps, view app history and identity to implement network preference.

Using your Photo/Media/Files and Storage permissions, the My Shaw app will:
• Enable you to view a PDF of your bill
• Test access to protected storage for the purpose of facilitating user data retrieval and use of content for registered devices to facilitate technical assistance should network access be denied and to increase the application productivity.

Using the Prevent Device from Sleeping permission, the My Shaw app will:
• Enable push notifications used during Support Chats

Using your device’s fingerprint scanner, the My Shaw app will:
• Link your fingerprint profile to your Shaw account via the app for authentication purposes

Using your Notifications permission, the My Shaw app will:
• Send relevant push notifications

Using your first name and postal code, the My Shaw app will:
• send you push notifications

Using the payment extension request, the My Shaw app will:
• Send you an email confirmation

Completely useless. As others have said, I redownloaded the app, then am told I need to reboot to get the newest version (didn't I just download the newest version??). I log in and see a white screen with chat and support. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared app. Cache and data and restarted my phone, all with no change. So the app is literally unusable.

As others have said, useless. After you sign in its just a white screen and two buttons that say chat and support. If you click support you get redirected to the website so what's the point of the app at all? This app used to be useful, with the options to see your bills, manage settings,plans etc but not anymore

it used to work just fine, than one day some updates went through and i've re downloded it, and only get a blank screen and if you type fast enough you'll get the page to open, but than to sign in you lose it all and have a blank screen. the developers screwed the coding and now it won't work unless i am on my pc which sometimes i can't be. Don't waste your time on this uesless app.
