Works on my Galaxy S7 but not on my Tab S2... I can't progress beyond clicking the button to add device to account. It just goes to the three dot loading icon and stays there. You would think they'd have it work on the top android tablet.
My problem with this is I can never get anything on Demand, nothing ever! I've also never been able to download anything at all, not even a kids program. And like most other people I don't get all the channels I get at home! I'm seriously thinking of switching to Telus Optic, and I've been with Shaw Direct for over 10 years, then again Shaw won't even give us a PVR unless we pay for it, and we have always had the biggest package or all the channels you can get! And I'm just getting fed up! I thought loyalty meant something, but it doesn't seem to be nowadays!
This app has never worked on either my smartphone or laptop over the past 6 months. Shaw says I need to buy a new router which is irresponsible and untrue. All other apps including Crave, YouTube and Netflix function flawlessly. The app is the problem.
Im sure this falls on deaf ears but Im so glad i have an android box and download content that i want with ease because these cable companies do not deserve our money. They charge companies to advertise and charge us to watch commercial saturated tv, movies and sports. They milk it at both ends. We need to use these alternative methods of content on demand to force these greedy companies to provide fair priced programming or become obsolete and disappear. Congrats Shaw, all this time and money and you cant provide a simple functioning, non lagging, non problem laden app.
Pretty good other than the fact it lags alot. To the point where it'd ever 5 seconds it has to buffer. And it isn't my Internet, but besides that the app is good
I'm disappointed....it consistently freezes on my laptop...won't install on my galaxy tablet....so I'm stuck watching it on my phone. Unhappy.
- FreeRange TV now automatically selects HD content over SD, when both are available. (This can be disabled in Playback Preferences under Settings.)
- Fixed an issue where playing some VOD titles (such as The Flash) resulted in an error
