Gemini is a new, collaboratively designed internet protocol, which explores the space in between gopher and the web, striving to address (perceived) limitations of one while avoiding the (undeniable) pitfalls of the other.

Okay experience for a new browser using a relatively new protocol. I like the ASCII style text in the open tabs/feeds / settings screens etc. Would benefit from an option to choose from a collection of themes. Maybe also make the gesture/navigation bar black when using dark mode. I can confirm that the address bar doesn't allow copying and pasting, and it seems to even block backspace sometimes. I found a website that linked to a jpg file which didn't want to load, which made it slow.

Rendering is good, and links work. Back button often closed the app instead of going back. Adding subscriptions to the feeds page was hard to figure out (go to the tab list and press the RSS logo).

Very nice. Simple. When I first started it the home page did not load so the app seemed unresponsive. But it works when you type in a URL.

What's new

Fixed long press on text scrolling the page due to bug in Flutter.
Allow clearing the homepage, so the app can start without initiating a request.
