The video is super choppy. I have a brand new Google Pixel phone, every other app runs totally smooth, so it's just this. I really wanted to like this, but choppy video is a deal breaker (given that's your product!)
Streaming quality is terrible. I stream Netflix and Youtube at 4K with ease, but this app gets no better than (what appears to be) 480p. There's also frequent and obvious lag. All this on a wired ethernet connection... Not only that, but they've cornered the market so that this is the only streaming option available to Canadians who want access to HBO content.
Not user friendly but I use it out of necessity. A lot of the choppiness people talk about can be solved by reducing the quality... but why that doesn't happen automatically is beyond me. Also why not autoplay the next episode? Why log out every time?
This app is useless. I'm using it on a Samsung Galaxy s8+ and all the videos are choppy... I've checked my speeds and tested with YouTube and Netflix with no problem. What is the problem? I don't pay a premium price to get bootleg quality.
Wow this app has gone downhill. I had it last year and while there were challenges, I could usually get thru a show. I've reinstalled it this week and haven't been able to watch even a few mins without an error message! I have Netflix and other tv show apps and they play w no issues. This one is horrible.
Choppy video while steaming or watching downloaded episodes on all qualities... Netflix doesn't have this issue so it's not my phone.. I will not continue paying $20/month if this is not fixed.
