If you're truly clueless you'll embrace this simple, unique and unaffiliated single and multi player adaptation in the retro detective board game genre that includes an advanced notepad with numbers leaving you free to keep track of every deduction.

The weapons are stylized from photographed household objects, some include details from stock footage at Unsplash and Burst, used in accordance with their licenses.

The playing board and room cards are computer generated using numerical data about tile, room and door layouts.

All sounds and music are generated or recorded live at our studio. The lead motif is an arrangement for two guitars played by our in-house musician based on "Der dritte mann" by Anton Karas. The short and suspenseful piano line is inspired by "Musica ricercata" by György Ligeti.

How to play

A murder has been committed in a mansion, but by which suspect, with what weapon and in what room? These are the three missing clues you as a detective have to uncover before your opponents do. Every potential clue is depicted on a unique card and these are dealt out at the beginning of each game, except for the three that are missing. Starting with your own clues and gradually finding out additional bits of information that your opponents hold, will eventually lead to a solution by elimination. Players take turn walking around the mansion and get to make a suggestion every time they enter a room, either directly, through one of the secret passages between the corner rooms or after having been summoned to a room by another player's suggestion. If an opponent holds one or more of the clues mentioned in a suggestion, one of them must be revealed in secret to the suggesting party. This is how players find out what cards the others have. Take careful notes of what is shown to you and by which player and you'll slowly build your case. The clues that nobody knows about must finally be the correct suspect, weapon and room, and at that point you are ready to accuse.

Success in solving the murder before your opponents comes down to how good you get at taking notes and here you'll have a detective notepad allowing for those oh-so-important individual numbering systems within the game itself. When you figure out how to use numbers and special symbols in your notepad to effectively track potential clue holders apart from evident information, you'll increase your chances to solve the murder before the other detectives dramatically. Taking notes directly after a suggestion makes the notepad cycle through a reduced mode making it easier to mark what happened just then before going fullscreen and making additional deductions.

This has 5 stars because it was exactly what I was looking for; a way to play clue by myself. The graphics are subpar, minimal really. But it is the Clue game, without useless animation, ads only appear after the end of a game. You can choose 2 to 6 players. It's really just what I want. It's even guranteed that I won't lose all of them. No in app purchases, etc. I'm happy. Simple.

I actually really like this app. Sure, the graphics aren't the best, but it is still very fun! The note system is relatively simple, gameplay itself is nice and I like the fact you can rename each character! However, I find it annoying you can't look through notes when it is someone else's turn. But overall, great game! Edit: It would be really cool if you were to add weapon tokens! Additionally, if the board was more like the one in the ad, that would be really cool!

Edit: Very well let me rephrase the problem. I am quite good at games like cluedo. . .usually. I played roughly 50 games and for some reason your AI wins by round(sorry thought that was clear) 6. (I won NONE of the games.) Thats not enough turns to make an educated guess, let alone know all the cards. Also you may wanna add a difficulty setting for those who arent as smart as a 200 IQ genius. I wont lie and say I may redownload, I won't. Just do something better for the future please.
