This seemed like what I was looking for however with both phone and app volume turned all of the way up, I could not hear the call announcements. Uninstalled. EDIT in response: Permissions were granted. The announcement did work it's just that it was very low volume and could not hear them unless I had the phone right next to my head.

This would be a great app if I could figure out how to get it to announce callers from my contact list. My husband phoned & left a message that I ignored because it announced him as "unknown caller". I had an old app that would not only announce callers but also it announced who I was receiving a text from. Maybe if you had a more complete "help" section that addressed these problems it would help.

I was fed up with caller name announcers because they were not working on my phone but with this app it worked perfectly, thanks to the inventors. Good work done.You deserve more than 5 stars.
