As an alternative to Braille embossing on pharmaceutical packaging, the "speech codes" were developed by us. This solution is technically easier to produce and it can be ensured that the information reaches the receiver (only a small part of the Blind and Visually Impaired can ever read Braille). Instead of embossed Braille code is a printed, which encrypts the information required, this will be read directly. The code can contain a significantly larger amount of information. The only thing they need is the Android app on a smartphone. As a carrier of information suited each other printable packaging, including package inserts, labels, blister and promotional material.
For optimum sound quality, we recommend the following APPs:
For Android from version 4.0:
"Google text-to-speech" (http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.tts&hl=de)
For Android version prior to 4.0:
"PICO TTS" (Preinstalled, alternatively: http://eyes-free.googlecode.com/files/com.svox.langpack.installer_1.0.1.apk)
Both APPs can, after a single installation, also be used offline.
