I bought the moov now mainly for swimming and it is so far exactly what I wanted, it has accurately tracked me in the pool and the metrics it has giving me so far have unlocked some of my why comes? It's showing me my errors and is helping me just like a coach would but at the fraction of a real one. I not saying that it's better than a coach but when you don't have one it is a ace in my training arsenal! I am still in beta testing mode so I can't give a full detailed report but I'm definitely liking what I see 😆 btw I am a triathlete so I'll be putting it thru it's paces. Thanks Moov Now can't complain so far. Santiago
Does not really work for swimming I bought this band to record my swimming sessions but looks like it is still not a really mature product for swimmers, it is miscalculating many laps I do during the training, it does not count many of my sprint laps and it does not matter which style I swim. It does work fine if you swim slow enough. The other functions are OK this is why I gave three stars and not one as for me this band is useless until moov will fix their bugs.
Good for some detailed analysis on your workout you can't get anywhere else, however the app cannot be used as your only fitness app. If just you could save and use the gathered data over time, it would be so much more useful. Like sleep tracking to see your development compared to your workout etc. The cadence measurement is clearly the selling point for runners, but I have never understood I cannot get my cadence as audio cues or make any settings in general?
I have been using Moov for over a year now. Biking, weights, swimming, cardio. I really like the sleep tracking too. It pretty much does everything I need it to, except the heart rate. Now guess what? Moov HR. I don't have one yet but I can see it in my future. Pretty complete package. I have used others including Atlas wearables which comes pretty close and tracks my kayaking too. But for ease of use and unobtrusive wearing, nothing beats the Moov Now.
Great little device for swimming I received my Moov Now tracker about a week ago. I'm currently using it for swimming only as planed originally. This device is as I hoped for. It tracks accurately the amount of distance I make (even caught me once "cheating"). It's also great at identifying my swimming style which I change on a regular basis during my workout. I wish it had a better export and share options for swimming (for data, not screenshot). Also comparison between workouts would be great.
Decent - Needs Some Improvements The voice training is great. Sleep tracking is pretty decent compared to other wearables. My biggest gripes are the limited number of workouts available and technical errors. I have - a few times - completed a full workout (7 mile walk/run most recently) to have the app tell me that no MOOV could be found (while linked) - and I completely lose my workout
