The AMAG app offers you everything you need to know about your vehicle and the garage: from simple workshop appointments and damage reporting, to cashless refuelling and charging, to current promotions, vehicle and garage information as well as personalised tips. In addition, you get access to an entire AMAG ecosystem – including uncomplicated communication with your garage and photo/video uploads for fast fault analysis.


What can I do with the AMAG App?

• Make an appointment for a workshop or claim reports
Quick and uncomplicated appointment scheduling or damage reporting with the app, as the vehicle data including the current mileage are transmitted to the workshop.

• Cashless refuelling and charging
Always find the nearest petrol station or charging station, compare prices, pay cashless and save money.

• Discover current promotions
Coupons for seasonal promotions, ticket raffles, invitations to test drives with the latest models and much more.

• Everything at a glance
See your vehicle directly in the dashboard and find the most important information about the garage and vehicle at a glance.
Vehicle: Vehicle data, receipts, carwash offers, accessories and more.
Garage: Book appointments, test drives, report damage or contact Totalmobil.

• Personalised tips & promotions
Practical weather information for the next 24 hours at your location – with tips for safe driving and personalised recommendations on travel, parking, maintenance, driving behaviour and more.

With the ‘Video + Photo Upload,’ for example, vehicle noises can be transmitted even more easily to the garage for efficient fault analysis.

Ratings and reviews

Very limited use for this app. It used to have AutoSense functionality integrated, but now it has been removed. Uses the push notification to spam you about VW products to buy, so I had to deactivate them. The service reservation and problem notification, which would be a nice feature to communicate automatically the relevant car data to the service garage, always ends up with an error so it cannot be used.

Really poor execution of an application. When attempting to navigate, the app simply crashes. When reopening and moving to another area, the app again just crashes. Yes, I updated to the latest version, yes I restarted the app.

App works fine in general. I've logged two cars of mine. How to switch? How to install the adapter for the second car? Reply from support is still pending.
