How to Play 15 Puzzle Classic Number Game?

In the 15 Puzzle, you’ll find a grid with one space left free. Your task is to shift the stones into the empty space, moving them around until every stone is in its correct place. The numbers are sorted in rows, continuing from one row to the next. You win the game when all the stones are ordered correctly.

Game Features

Our 15 Puzzle game offers a range of exciting features to keep you engaged:
Multiple Grid Sizes: Choose from different game sizes, including 3x3 and 4x4 grids.
Achievements & Leaderboards: Unlock various achievements and compete with other players on global leaderboards based on the number of moves or the time taken to complete the puzzle.
Strategic Play: Take your time to plan your moves, as the timer starts only when you make your first move. Shift two or more stones at once to optimize your strategy and count them as a single move.

Historical Origins

The 15 Puzzle was invented by Noyes Palmer Chapman, a postman who introduced a similar game to his friends in 1874. The puzzle became popular in Hartford, Connecticut, where it was produced as Christmas gifts by students in 1879. Initially, the stones had to be placed by hand in any irregular order, adding to the challenge and fun of the game.

The Mathematics Behind the Puzzle

Our 15 Puzzle game is generated randomly, ensuring that no number is in its correct position at the start. To ensure solvability, a special parity algorithm is used. If a generated setup is unsolvable, the last two numbers are swapped to create a valid parity. This means you’ll always have a solvable puzzle to enjoy!

A very well designed game that is, for once, what it says. The UI isn't overpowering, just simple and SO nice. I absolutely applaud the creator of this game, because this is a masterclass of a sliding puzzle game. Anyway off of the glazing it is really good. Nice, simple UI that doesn't fry your brain the moment you set foot into the app with minimal ads. I, myself, haven't gotten a single one yet. And of course, 3x3 to 7x7 puzzles. What more could you ask for? 10/10

This puzzle game is one of my favorites, it's is easy but complex. It challenges memory and flow. To properly arrange the numbers while rearranging theirs orders to flow into place is a great passtime

Game is bugged. I went in to a 5x5 game and played a little and then went to menu and then back in and some blocks are invisible and appear empty. Fix this. It's sloppy coding. By the way, put all your games in to one app for god's sake.
