Tried the app and supplied hardware on several watches. After spending more than 10 mins on each watch (moving the clip around the front/back) I could not get a decent recording with enough amplitude for the app to record. I will contact the manufacturer as it is either a problem with te clip or the app. I contacted the developer of the app (twice) and no response. Poor service and an expensive non-working tool.
Is a great app and hardware. Tricky but great. Sometimes it says "No signal detected" at the end of the "Collecting" data and you just jave to wait for the reading if it takes to much time like a minute or two. (Also is a lot easier to read the watch status with the case back removed.) This cuz the watch is too low or high in time. So just try to move the regulator forward or back more than usual and it will give you a good read and then you can part from there. The update is fabulous now i can adjust beat as well. The osiloscope is very useful. The only issue i had is with very old 60s watches. Is a very good app and hardware to use on the go. Keep updating it is very useful. Worrh every euro.
Works sometimes Struggling to get it to finish the reading. It's collects all the data but as it gets to the end it says it's lost signal. So I can see the heartbeat but it fails to show the reading. Sony Z5 Premium.
We have added new functionalities to our SwissConnect Analytics application.
You can now measure the amplitude and beat error of your mechanical watches.
