Works fine for me Seems to work fine on my Motorola Droid 4. Saw the warning about Moto phones but took a chance and I'm not disappointed. I don't use any of the scheduling features but the wipe seemed to work as expected. The aggregate score is too low for something that is working for some users.
Utterly useless app! Downloaded, installed and ran this app. Thought everything was clean based off of output from this app. Then I ran DrFone which found 50 deleted contacts, 66 deleted messages, and my entire call history of 538 calls... And I delete my call history frequently. Didn't do a single thing it advertised that it supposed to do! Utterly useless!
Crashes when trying to run it. When i press the secure button the app crashses. No matter what settings i choose it will always crash. I'm going to keep it installed in hopes that it will update to work with Samsung Galaxy S5
User interface needs work Trialed on Samsung Galaxy S1 & 10." Tab, worked fine on both with some issues. Seems to function by filling all the empty space with files or data, could be an issue if you stop it before it cleans up. Would do better if you could select start time, and had more than 48hrs as maximum interval between scans, I woukd prefer to be able to stop the scedule and just run mamually whi I think it's needed, plus given the risk of stopping early it needs a reliable progress indicator. Finally I set 48hrs as scan interfal, but second scan started only 2hrs later, not good.
Will give five stars if helped When I clicked "secure delete now" the application closed and a message came up saying "shredroid had quit unexpectedly" pls help me fix this
Defunct This out-and-out refuses to work for me. It will not shred internal and/or external data, forcing a quit every time I try. A device-specific problem, I have to assume.
