Lexico Hearing is a versatile platform for the targeted development of auditory perception and central language processing. The app includes a large collection of therapy materials at the following levels: sounds, sounds, syllables, and words.

Exercise content is selected intuitively by target sounds or topics. The difficulty of all exercises is adjusted to the needs of the patients. The practical exercises are suitable for the daily therapy practice of speech therapists, special education and mainstream schools, as well as clinics. Practice progress is automatically logged, allowing for continued work outside of therapy sessions, e.g., with parents.

Which one? - Matching with minimal pairs.

Syllables and word synthesis - Form words from different sounds.

Counting syllables - Determine the number of syllables in a word.

Sound position - Determine the position of the target sound within a word.

Rhyming words - Find rhyming pairs.

Sequences - Train memory by reproducing sequences.

Memory - A listening memory game that can be played with all the content.

Timed game - Find as many items as possible in one minute to achieve a high score.

Versatile applications:
Lexico Hearing can be used for the therapy of speech and language disorders of various origins, such as phonological disorders, dysarthria, apraxia, or aphasia. By incorporating syllable and sound position recognition and offering the option to work with either images or written words, the app is also well-suited for learning to read and write, for students with dyslexia, and for teaching German as a second language (GSL).

Lexico Hören Pro includes the complete collection of materials with over 6,000 words, syllables, sounds, noises, images, and audio recordings in 700 professionally curated lists.
