Great service at a fair price. What's really great about this app is that it offers multi hop capabilities through their secure core based in multiple privacy friendly countries. For some reason, that's a rare, but critical feature for privacy. No other major provider offers that, not even Nord. Breaking through 1 VPN, possible and not hard for some. Breaking through 3 of them? Good luck. Better pack a lunch and be ready for a lot of delivery. Up to 10 devices, run a VM and run the VPN in VM.

Slow us servers and poor automatic switching. I'm a big fan of Proton Mail, but their VPN offering is hot garbage. First, the US servers are generally very slow. I usually get better performance when I switch to a Canadian server, even though it's much further from my location. When my phone stops loading content, the app is invariably stuck in "Connecting to Server" I have to manually disconnect and reconnect. This app has been a lifesaver. If you can afford it, subscribe. When I had the trial period, I experienced very little problems sailing, with occasional choppy seas. After my trial period, I found the seas are choppier than I anticipated and found this app makes them just a little more manageable, even with the free version. Get the free trial and then subscribe. It's worth it.
