Ratings and reviews

I like this vpn, its fine. But the random country thing is very annoying for free users. I cant pick what country I need to connect too, and it makes you wait to switch. I ONLY use VPNs to watch videos on youtube in other places. And then it's more annoying bc some countries are labeled as FREE so you can connect without plus, but you cant even pick if you want to connect with them or not. The app can fix this by either Removing the wait between switch, or making a list to pick what you want.

Very easy UI and straightforward. I'm new to Proton and so far they seem like a good company. Wished they had a little more flexibility with their premium/plus offerings. I would like to purchase Proton Pass Plus separate from the unlimited package, however, that is not possible if you have the VPN. Overall still a great product and app.

Proton has geat services overall and for sure a life long customer. The only issue I have with their VPN, sometimes it won't connect due to bug issues with the service. This issue happens across my Apple, Android and Microsoft devices. No conflicting services in use like firewalls, anti-virus, or other VPN. It ends up requiring me to not use it until an update happens or switch protocols per platform (more than I would like or have experienced with some other vpns). But overall still awesome
