To those having trouble with yum. To those who keep getting the error "cannot find fedora metalink" here is a solution. Type this command. (Make sure you have fake root enabled) sed -i "s/mirrorlist=https/mirrorlist=http/" /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora.repo . then type sed -i "s/mirrorlist=https/mirrorlist=http/" /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora.updates.repo . then type yum update and it should work. To the developer, this is the result of a simple mistake of putting "https" instead of "http" in the urls in the repo files. Please fix that simple mistake to save everyone not as familiar with Fedora from an unnecessary headache. Other than that this app is good.
Perfect install - I have xterm, emacs, gcc, WindowMaker + basic system running smoothly. No broken dependencies so far. Needs the Xserver XSDL to be installed as well (and a gigabyte to spare.) - Update: D-BUS not running creates trouble :-/
Wheezy works, but fedora doesn't. Fedora starts terminal session then crashes. Fedora is what I wanted though so only 3 stars. Wheezy and wheezy x both work oke.although the X is pretty limited, it's nice to open an xterm. And using an xserver is interesting.
I cannot see this option into GNUroot rootfs list I had installed this package and GNUroot as well, however i am not able to create a fedora rootfs to runs yum. Is there any incompatibility with asus tablet and Android 4.3 or additional steps should be done to get this working ? Thx
This is completely outdated! Please fix this or remove it.
Good one What would be the SU password?
Hard links now emulated properly. Many more packages will work now.
