WHY WE NEED LOCATION DATA
Chipolo uses location data to display the last known location of your Chipolo finder in the Chipolo app, to trigger Out of Range Alerts on your phone and to display your phone's location in the Chipolo web app, even when the app is running in the background.

Love the hardware - the wallet card and the fob (One) are good sized. However the app and location detection aren't great. I constantly get a notification that I may have left my wallet behind (Card tracker) when it's on my body. However, I rarely get a notification if I've left my keys behind (One). I've been in numerous situations at home luckily where the connection to the Card drops and my only option is to mark it as lost instead of ringing it to locate... And it's only a room away.

The steps provided to silence only the "running in the background" and not other notifications no longer works for android 14. Your only option is to allow all or block all notifications. I did send a feedback from the app itself with a screenshot of the settings screen. I'm hoping this issue is fixed soon

Worst app ever. Constantly hacks into your device and turns on permissions. Didn't realize I even still had this app downloaded but opened it up and it runs non-stop in the background even having nothing for it to track. Every single time it causes my device battery to drain. And no matter how many times you disable permissions somehow this app manages to turn them back on by itself. Products aren't worth you hacking my device. If I could give it a 0 star review I would
