The Chipolo app offers free finding features that help you find your phone and let you customize your finding experience. It also has a few fun features! You can give each Chipolo its own ringtone or take the perfect group photo with Chipolo as a remote camera shutter.

WHY WE NEED LOCATION DATA

Chipolo uses location data to display the last known location of your Chipolo tracking tag in the Chipolo app, to trigger Out of Range Alerts on your phone and to display your phone's location in the Chipolo web app, even when the app is running in the background. Additionally, Chipolo may use your location when scanning for nearby Chipolo tracking tags as part of the community search feature that helps our users find each other’s Chipolos.

Ratings and reviews

This whole product is garbage. I got a pop point and a card, added them to Find My Device, and a week later they had disappeared. I re-connected the pop through the app, and it said it was added to My Devices, but it's not there. The card can't be found by the app or Find My Device, it just beeps and beeps but never connects. Customer service is useless, unhelpful and rude.

I like the Chiplo. I can't say I love it tho. I have had issues where my phone restarted and the chipolo and phone didn't reconnect. I misplaced my tagged device but then couldn't track it with the chiplo because it had not reconnected to my phone. I now check they are connected constantly because I don't trust it to do it automatically. (Yes I have the settings enabled to allow for the auto sync) That is why the 3 stars instead. Other then that issue, it has worked pretty well.

What a disappointment. When I tried to pair my Chipolo One Plus with my phone, I pressed the Chipolo and it beeped the first couple of times I pressed it, but it never paired with the phone and it stopped beeping after subsequent presses. I only bought one to see how well they worked, with plans to buy more, but now, unless something changes, I would not recommend this product.
