Almost, but not quite. Was really hoping this would do what I needed. If this could give me the same slideshow functions on Chromecast as on my old device with a tiny screen, I'd be thrilled; there's no clock or weather visible while casting, no photo info, etc. Expected a replacement for Chromecast Backdrop but with decent image source selection. Also, with the changes to Facebook, that's now useless with Dayframe.
Very buggy Doesn't play my entire album from Flickr. Very disappointed and I even did the prime. Try something alternative. Stay away from this one !
Gif support in app?? Would be perfect if the gifs played in app as well as on Chromecast.
Could do with an option to add a folder and all subfolders on Dropbox. I've got several hundred folders I'm trying to click through and it's pretty brutal.
It would get 5 stars if it could play animated gifs
Pointless. Doesn't seem to allow me to show my own photos from an SD card, only other people's photos from the internet. Why would I want to do that. If there is an option to show my own photos, it's very well hidden. I thought it might be the "Gallery" button, but that does nothing. Great app if you want to view random pictures taken by strangers.
