Almost, but not quite. Was really hoping this would do what I needed. If this could give me the same slideshow functions on Chromecast as on my old device with a tiny screen, I'd be thrilled; there's no clock or weather visible while casting, no photo info, etc. Expected a replacement for Chromecast Backdrop but with decent image source selection. Also, with the changes to Facebook, that's now useless with Dayframe.
Could do with an option to add a folder and all subfolders on Dropbox. I've got several hundred folders I'm trying to click through and it's pretty brutal.
Pointless. Doesn't seem to allow me to show my own photos from an SD card, only other people's photos from the internet. Why would I want to do that. If there is an option to show my own photos, it's very well hidden. I thought it might be the "Gallery" button, but that does nothing. Great app if you want to view random pictures taken by strangers.
Dayframe Works well - or it did, then it crashed and I couldnt stop it, had to reboot chromecast, now every few minutes my phone says dayframe has stopped working, even though its not running, shame because I really liked it
It needs to lock the screen My tablet can't lock anymore when the app is enabled, and I need to be able to lock it. Is there a way to do so?
And it's fixed... Note 3, enjoyable experience and fast... now a good staple for my tv.
