the new UI is uncomfortable, laggy, buggy, etc. – borderline unusable. there was nothing wrong with it before, everything worked. Saw responses saying the UI was updated in order to have it on a modern platform – unless the previous one had already/was about to hit EOL, I don't see a reason when it makes the experience worse. Don't fix what isn't broken.

I love the concept of ResQ. It used to be my go-to app if I was too tired to make food after a long work day, or get a treat. But after the UI rework, it's been downhill sadly. App is harder or annoying to navigate now. Going back to the map view with the phone's backwards button will close the whole app.

Plenty offerings. Need to be smart when selecting a place. Some luch places use the platform as intended: reduce waste by giving yesterday meals out for cheap, or meals left over on a current day. Some places use it as cheap way to market themselves. Sadly, some places consider left over food suitable for animals only - and you will recieve service as such. Sometimes customer service is helpful, but sometimes the tiny cut the app makes is not worth for helping a customer. Be smart and it's good.
