Pretty solid Mastodon reader. I have two big complaints, however. First, it won't let you upload media from your phone, claiming it doesn't have permission to access its storage (though Google Drive works fine). Second, you cannot mute notifications if you want push notifications, so be prepared for constant noise or vibrations throughout the day.
This app was my favorite mastodon app until this last update. The interface is still clean and gorgeous, but now I get no notifications, even though I have them enabled. I've tried reinstalling the app and readjusting the settings, but no luck. This app also lacks keyword muting, which would be a great addition, but if notifications were turned back on, I'd say this is the best mastodon app in the app store, and I've tried most at this point.
I can't use it because it clears the screen when I check my two-factor authentication.
this is a nice app but personally i can't use it until i am able to look up toots by url
Great app, the only mastodon android app to get notifications right: show me the whole content of the toot in the notification and show each mastodon notification as it's own android notification. It also seems to do push notifications, which is fantastic. My only gripe is that pressing a notification doesn't take me to the notifications tab when it opens the app. The translation function is great, but the design could do with some work. For example, on toots consisting of an image only, there's nowhere to press to expand the toot. In the notifications panel it seems like sometimes there's unneccesary duplicated account avatars and names for the same notification. In general, decluttering the interface would be a good idea.
Awesome work. Just miss a night mode, I have some bugs with emojis and replying, but it's a very good app.
