Horribly indiscreet When typing a message, the font is HUGE. The message isn't confidential if someone behind you can read it from across the room. Also, the app is called Confide. If someone were to get into my phone, they would see that I have this app, and that I'm in secret correspondence with certain people. The app name should be something that arouses less suspicion.
Keeps saying there's a problem try later Can't proceed after you put in pass word.
I never used it. It wasn't what I was looking for. I wanted an app that allows me to send messages that will delete after being read. The problem with this app, as with many others, is that they want you to invite friends to the app first. That's good for private networking. I , however, don't want my recipient knowing that the message is going to expire and delete. That gives the receiver a heads up to screenshot while reading or worse. Does anyone knows of an app or messaging service that doesn't give the intended recipient notice (or make them sign up).
Best of Breed
Great app Keep your communications private. No worry about messages being forwarded or copied. Stay "off the record." Best private messaging app around. This is a must-have app. End-to-end, military grade, encryption. Self-destructing messages. No other app offers the security and ease of use as Confide. Note, however, that the developers have placed security as paramount, even over the user experience. There may be things you don't like about this app, but I bet it would negatively impact security.
It is now even easier to invite friends to Confide. Try it out by tapping "Add Friends" within the app.
Messaging app that encrypts messages, group chats, voice, video calls & files.
