Awair measures the indoor air quality by reading five data points in the air: Temperature, Humidity, CO2, VOCs and Dust. It then analyzes their aggregate levels to determine the air quality of a specific space and assign an Awair Score on a 0 to 100 color-coded scale. 0 being poor air quality and 100 being awesome.

I had to use iOS to set up the app. It won't connect using Android and my account won't sync so awair is completely useless on droid. Fingers crossed for a fix. Update- issue is fixed for Android. I love that it tells me the air quality in my toddlers bedroom.

The app initially worked with my android device when I first purchased it, however it has been unable to locate the awair device via bluetooth for months. All trouble shooting options have not fixed the problem, and the app updates have failed to fix the issue.

Please fix ifttt integrations. Continuous problems with ifttt integrations killing any smart home integration value. Also, I have 3 of these. 1 had been reading continuously high dust so I bought 2 iqair air purifiers and ran them continuously, with no improvement. I then contacted customer service and they sent a replacement that says dust is extremely low = was a faulty device. Now readings are continually high in my workout room. Is it the air quality or the sensor quality? I have contacted the manufacturer and they do not respond. It must either be a known issue or they allow 2 out of the 3 I bought to be faulty. How do I know the 3rd unit is accurate? I don't. Overall, due to significant concerns about accuracy and almost always faulty ifttt applet triggering I have to say I am disappointed with these devices, this app, and this company.

Sounds good. I have been working hard to improve user experience. If it's not annoying, can you update the rating, too? Thank you! I like accessing the detailed analysis from my Awair. The app finally links my Android phone with my Next thermostat. Now the fan kicks on automatically depending on CO2, VOC, and dust levels.
Great solution but a bit buggy. Particularly when accessing awair Nest integration information.
Latest updates brought major improvements. Awair Glow connectivity is working great. The app interface is clean, informative and very user friendly. Thanks for the solid update!

I'm sorry to late. We updated the new version. You can connect with the Awair Glow. Please update your app :) Has all of the information I need and can connect to my devices. Down side is that it crashed frequently and will stop updating unless I close and reopen it.
The Awair Glow app works great! My account was already logged in and picked up the Glow right away. Thanks for the update. :-)
New update does not work with my Samsung galaxy 5. Does not display current air quality and connection. A real pain!

Now you can use the Awair Glow. Please update the new version. I'm sorry to late Really Could do more. The biggest thing I would like to see is temperature to the .1 of a degree. I know the device is capable it shows up in the charts but not in realtime.

Awair+ I can't get it to complete linking to my Nest device, it shows it in the background but has the spinning circle dialogue continuously and will not allow me to select and complete. This happens on all of my android devices.

Now you can integrate with your Nest devices. junk it worked for the first few months, but now it forgets it's login to the Awair account every day and has to be re-setup each day. It also seems to have difficulty with hidden SSID and randomly disconnects from WiFi, unless the SSID is advertised.

Please update the new version. We improved the app performance and fixed some bugs. No updates Nothing had been updated since April, logging into accounts is currently broken. Resetting passwords keeps the submit login button on the page. Only able to see current day info. Lots of disappointment for a $200 dollar gadget. Especially when customer service says they'll release new updates and fails to deliver.
Good when it works Crashes a lot, doesn't respond a lot, and logs me out at random times. When it works, nice info, though I wish vocs were list as tvoc instead of index. The device itself is ok too.
Simple and useful Really like this thing. Reviewing app and device here. Device is elegant enough that my wife complimented it without knowing what it was - wow - and the app is simple to use. I haven't had any of the app crash issues others are complaining about. I don't have a way to validate the accuracy of anything except the temperature and humidity, but both agree with other devices in the house
How does this app have more than 1 star? Does not work at all. Fails at the first awair pairing step. Also extremely unstable, a complete train wreck.
App doesn't work. If you can't get an app to work I don't have any confidence that the hardware works either. Returning tomorrow.

A couple things on my want list are historical data over 24 hours (even if there could be an advanced setting to enable some kind of logging to a server/database on the local network) and the raw ppb measure from the VOC sensor.

Great app for a nice & useful product Simple and light app. Works perfectly on Android 5.0.1.
Ok, one star off just because of the "Designed for Phones" limitation, which is even more silly than normal since the timeline graphs would actually be more readable if you could turn your phone on its side, or use a tablet. Another star off because you specify needing Android 4.3 or later, but I can't get it to install on any device not running Android 5.X. Two tablets that run 4.4.2 can't install the app.
