Ratings and reviews

This app is mostly good, but it doesn't always work. I have still been able to access 'blocked' sites while the list was ostensibly activated. Sometimes, my block list has randomly disappeared altogether, and I've had to recompile it. I don't know if I'm imagining this or incorrectly recalling it, but I swear it's happened a few times. Perhaps I should find a more reliable app.

I did try the paid version, and it was a huge disappointment. Would not sync between PC and phone. Customer support was not helpful at all. Too many begging notification. Not enough in the free service. Tried it again in 2024 and it nearly forces you into a yearly subscription. I did finally go with the purchased subscription, it does the job sometimes but also messes with other apps and blocks random things. Had to delete it and cancel subscription. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Had 4 stars, lowered to 2. This app worked as advertised maybe 80% of the time to block a certain hellsite on chrome, until it didn't at all. I'm not interested in trudging through ads to troubleshoot what should be a simple on/off process. It's a great idea and has value, all it needs is to actually work consistently.
