It's great for writing simple text files. Well the app is perfect for writing and managing your text files via folders. Try to transfer your text files from time to time since you might not get them back if you encounter an error and if you do, contact the developer to let them know about the error encountered so they could fix it and improve the app altogether. And to finish this review off, the app is free and doesn't have ads or at least I haven't encountered any, thus if you can support the developer.
Ok, soo in principle I love it, but ...on my Moto G 2nd Gen, some of the .MD files show in PC explorer and some do not?! I know they are there as I can find them through my phones folder navigation where they do not seem to be stored on my SD card, but on my internal storage? All very strange. Edit: so I powered down my pc and phone, upon retrying I could locate the files. Incidentally I view them on my pc with notepad++ and it's really very easy. Great job guys...
Almost Perfect I've tried Jotterpad, iA and Monospace but I find Writer+ the best in terms of ease of use and design. Somehow, typing here is a tad faster than the others I mentioned. Not sure if it's a keyboard thing though. No complaints. Only gripe is there's no direct sync to cloud, I don't like that we have to install a whole other app for that. For now, I'm cool with saving files to my phone memory.
Perfect for on the go/with you at all times Love this app. I'm a writer and I've got ideas running through my head at all times. I love the folders specifically. I have one for everything that I write from poetry to journalling and probably one day book ideas or pages. Idk if it has an option for font size and type? Maybe I just haven't found it yet. But I would suggest an option for a heading instead of just the titles and also paragraph spacing would be an awesome improvement. Thank you!!
Great job! Like the app. Its just so simple and easy to use. The only thing that makes me a bit confused about this app is that it says it saves files on sd card. But on my phone (samsung galaxy j1), it saves files on my phone. What happened?! I tried uninstalling and installing again, but still, the file folder is still saved on my phone. Hope that it gets fix. I really like this app than the other writing apps.
I am really liking this, it's simple and does the job well. I have a feature request if you don't mind: Either enable this as a preferably default option or hard code it in: can you please allow hiding of all files and folders that start with a period? I have my folder hooked up to git and resilio sync and would like to ensure .git and .sync and other .xxxx files are hidden from view. Thanks!
