Sloppy and unrefined - no poor Android TV support (locked to portrait, poor navigation). Doesn't properly remember you have logged in. Obnoxious LiquidSky logo is always plastered on the screen (it needs to fade away or at least become mostly transparent). Controller configuration/mapping is defective. Overall this app needs some serious attention & polish. Way too much focus on community items, ads/etc.
When this app works its fantastic. But most of the time it unfortunately doesn't! It often just sits on a screen that says "your sky computer is loading" this app is obviously still in early development and is being updated regularly but it still needs alot of work.
Great app to play games on your phone from your steam, origin or blizzard accounts. It's on demand TV for games. By watching adverts, you gain credits which you use as minutes for renting the computer. You then can choose the speed of the computer which varies the amount of credits you use. The android app itself is the best you'll see for game streaming and although the latency is not good enough for competitive, it's perfect for casual gaming. I've tested on a device with 2.4ghz WiFi using wireless N and the experience was better than expected. Even using a Bluetooth xbone controller, which wasn't advised, was great. Occasionally adverts don't play and you waste credits downloading games but these are minor things which can be improved. Another improvement could be a UI layer when the computer is first started (similar to steam big picture) so that you can navigate Windows with a controller easily. Overall this is exciting technology which can only improve with time.
This is an absolutely amazing app. This really puts a whole new perspective on gaming. This is really great especially for those who can't afford a good gaming PC. The fact that this allows us to play PC games on our mobile devices is fantastic. So I thank the people who took the time to make this.
Just doesn't work. Run time errors. DCs break without option for DR. The android client consistently fails to load. The only time you can use it is on PC in middle of night. Which is a waste of money as I already have decent laptop. Good idea, poor execution. Wait for beta to close, save your money
Having bought SkyCredits on the previous (Dated) version, I was happy with how it worked. Now, however, I'm suffering a major issue. I cannot create/migrate (I understand that creating an account with your previous email will migrate) an account as I'm told I'm under 13. However, the date I put in was over the age. This seems like an easy issue to resolve without a consent form.
