I like it overall, it has a good effect in creating habits.. I am not yet sure if i want to continue as yearly member due to consuming the phone battery. I have charge my phone two times pet day. It's a fairly new phone One plus. If something can be improved in this way it will definitely make me reconsider the subscription.
I loved Fabulous (past tense)! It was my favorite app. It's great. I even recommended it to a lot of my friends. The goal setting is so useful. It really helped me to accomplish a lot of things! I went from not working out at all to working out everyday (and I've been working out for almost a year now!). But I don't know what happened. A while back the alarms stopped ringing and I couldn't get notified for my tasks. They have troubleshooting for this, but it doesn't work for me. 😖 I'm actually disappointed and sad that I'm going to have to uninstall Fabulous.
I installed this yesterday on my Samsung Galaxy 10.1 and it was working just fine. Tried to open this morning and won't open at all, not even a message of this app has stopped working. I was really looking forward to using it. Uninstalled, re installed, even restarted my tablet but sadly nothing.
Works really well so far, just coming to the end of the first week but I love the pace of the app, the control and just the peaceful feeling alongside. I like the joy of completing a goal for the day and the 3 day period for each goal forces you to slow down and think about achieving one thing at a time. For example something so simple as drinking water when you wake up does become second nature by the time you move onto focusing on the second thing. It's educational and the reminders are gentle as well :)
Constantly trying to upsell even on the first day of use. I'm also not a fan of how it presents its self help messaging... But that's just my opinion. It does do what it says it does... I do drink water every morning when I wake up now as an example. But I'll find other tools to help me build better habits that are a little more toned down.
I like the app, I just find the reminders to sign up for their more expensive full version invasive. I appreciate apps like this take hard work which needs to be financially supported, but I'm not paying £4 a month (£8 after a year) for an app to tell me to get up and drink some water every day. It's just not realistic. Spotify and Audible are already expensive enough - I use both and they provide me with a lot more for my money.
One new superpower for you: Questions and Affirmations.
Questions are important in helping you achieve your goals. Asking the right question can help shape your mind and change your behavior. In case you're feeling unmotivated in the near future, browsing through your previous notes should have the same effect as when you're looking back at your family vacation photos: you’ll feel reinvigorated and remember a time where you were able to build a streak.
