For 5 years now, I've been recording 1 second every day, so I'll never forget another day ever again. This project has had such a profoundly positive impact on my life, that I've passionately developed an App that will make it extraordinarily easy for anyone to do this too.

Reliving every single day of my life at age 30 in 6 minutes has provided me with a treasured perspective on life. It holds me accountable for making each day count.

When I turn 40, I'll have a 1 hour compilation that encapsulates my 30s. If I live to see 80 years of age, I'll have a 5-hour video that summarizes 50 years of my life.

This app worked great in the beginning, but now I can't make compilations. It will start and say it's mashing the seconds but ultimately after a few dates it times out. I've been trying for weeks to get a full compilation and it just will not finish. If this can be fixed I'll give it 5 stars because I used it for my daughter's first year and it was awesome. Now in her second year I can't get it to create. Very sad. I've tried on WiFi and on Data. It's definitely the app.

I found this app through the movie Chef, bit that is besides the point. The developers have done a fantastic job between the ui and the simplicity of adding videos, it has become a habit to open this app daily, I look forward to it . Also, the informative, non-intrusive notifications are one of my favorite features. Great job on this! And thank you, this app is teaching me life matters, and everyday isnt always as stagnant as it may seem :)

I highly recommend this app for anyone interested in preserving moments of their life. Not only does it motivate you to get out and do something fun, but it gives you perspective on the fun things you're already doing. Even if your second is something as simple as watching Netflix, doing a single pushup, or having a great meal, every day you do something that matters. Especially recommend to anyone suffering from depression. Every day matters. Get up, do something, and be proud of it!

This app is great and I hope to keep using it in the future. It's absolutely a must have! I really recommend it. However, I'm having a few problems with my videos. 1. Some of my videos are fast forwarded and for some, the audio isn't at the same time than the video. About 3/7 of my videos lately have been doing that 2.The preview of the video is longer than the trimmed version. I hope my feedback will help making this app even better than it is right now

I love this app. On February 2nd when I was all sad that a month is gone from the year and I thought I did nothing important or fun, I made a video of January and made me realize what an awesome January I had. All the sudden I lit up and I was glowing and was ready to make new goals! I have to get a new phone and I've been using 1SE for 6 months now. How can I make sure my content will be available on my new device? Or am I gonna lose all my snippets? I wanted to make a year long video. Thanks for your response.

This is the only app about which I wanna say that 'I want to keep it till the end of my life'.. Umm this app really helped me to track everyday of my life.. It pushes me to do different thing daily.. And after a month or year when I see a full rendered video then I realise that what I have achieved this year.. How much quality time I have spent with my family or friends or colleagues.... How many good and bad things I have been through.. Ultimately what I wanna say here is that I love this app lot.. I recommend everyone to try it atleast for once and thank me later :) :)

I have never written a review until now, but super frustrated. Have tried everything I can think of, but can't PLAY a simple compilation of my videos because I can't FIND that option!!! No help in the tutorial. Please, for the love of God, how do I simply PLAY my video which has all my video clips??

I love this app. Please fix the following issues : 1. The date and day isn't being displayed after i select the video in the bottom left 2. The video is being played faster than it really is after i preview what i selected for that day. 3. Please provide a 2 second option, 1.5 seconds is too less in some cases. Thank you!

Such a great idea, but simply does not work. Everything was fine for about 6 weeks, then stopped saving clips to the timeline. Since then, nothing I have been able to do has fixed the issue. Was very excited about the idea, but gets a 1 star until it actually works.

Hello Chris, Try going into the 1SE settings and turn off the "Hardware Clipping,” this may need to be turned off for your specific device. If you don't see this option- try a long press on the "others" heading in the 1SE settings. That will unhide this setting.

The interface and concept are great but the compression after saving a snippet steals the magic from a lot of my best snippets. The compilation come out looking ok... but just ok. If this issue can get fixed unreserved five stars though!

I make three videos of these videos a year. This is now the third time 1SE drops frames every couple seconds. :-( I swear to god, if the app still drops frames on 1st of October, I'll write a competing app that doesn't! I like the new features, but there is one core functionality you can't get wrong: Cutting videos!

I love this app, it worked so great on my iPhone. But I'm now using it on an android phone and the quality of the videos is horrendous, but the camera on this is so much better than an iPhones. What gives? Is the quality poorer because it's a free app on android? I'd rather pay for better quality videos any day! Please fix this, I really love using this app!

Alas, another person up to date with the app, on an S6, but "clipping failed". Makes such an awesome app, unusable. My first ever review of an app, and loved it for 2015, 2016, but cannot keep up to date with 2017 :-(. I won't bother submitting a ticket, back in November, I waited weeks for a reply and nothing. Understand it's free on Android Vs iOS but any ETA for a fix?

Clipping failed issue STILL there. It has been months and I fail to understand how this hasn't been fixed. If the app concept wasn't so great, I would've given up a long, long time ago. Please fix, otherwise it will have to be a user lost. And by the looks of the reviews, not only one.

It's a good idea, but the iPhone version has a simple play button which would be useful, why should we need to create a video every time we want to update it? Also, loading prerecorded videos in portrait sometimes distort, sometimes don't, no logical consistency.

The app in theory is fantastic, but for whatever reason, it only outputs at 720p. On ios, it outputs in 1080p so there's no excuse. I have a 4k display and watching back my 1 second everyday is horrendous because the resolution is so poor.

I decided to reinstall this app, hoping the clipping error or issues would have been fixed by now, but no. Still dealing with the same problem. This is really disappointing. Love the app went I first downloaded it, but it's not fun to use anymore. I know you guys are trying to fix this issue as best you can. Hopefully when you guys update the app again, this can be resolved. If not I may not want to use this app ever again!

Update: It is now March 1st and this app still does not work on my device. I continue to get the "clipping failed" message. Original review:A friend recommended this app, but it won't save anything. I keep getting a "clipping failed" message. I love the idea behind it, it just doesn't work for me. Edited: Unfortunately, I have the updated version and I still get the "clipping failed" message. I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but it still does not work for me. :(

V buggy. Whilst I could film fine using the app, Freestyle content couldn't be compiled, and error messages / info messages showed as a greyed out screen with an orange 'x' hovering on the right hand side. There's no visible info as to why the compilation can't be made through freestyles. Given I spent ten hours recording, this is really disappointing.

Really like this app! Recently, I've been getring the notification that my snippet is saved for a day, but it isn't, so I can't make new compilations in over a month now. Would really love to see this bug fixed for Galaxy S5. Also, it's a bit tricky to find where your compilations are (that little button that looks like film is hidden and not obvious).

Its been perfect for almost a year and now, suddenly, it no longer saves clips. I presume because the app automatically updated. Please fix this. Using a Galaxy S6. Update: still not working since the update on 18/01/17 Update: 30/01/17 - I am still getting clipping failed errors. Android 6.0.1 Update: 19/02/17 - Still not working. Not impressed.

No reason I should have to give Google Play access to everything on my phone just for this app to work. The app itself is a great idea. Mandating all permissions is ridiculous.

Sorry for the frustration Chris. We use Google Play Services to back up your seconds with G-Drive. Permissions help us with that.

I've been using this app for a year and a half now and I love it! Such a great idea and so fun to journal in this way. Yes, it can be hard to choose only one second, but that's the point! I highly recommend. Don't let the minor imperfections deter you- they're always working on the app. It's hard to remember at first to take a video, but if you forget, you can add a picture from that day instead. Update 4/2017 I still love this app! The downside I'm finding is it takes up WAY too much space on my phone because it keeps a copy of all the 1 second videos in-app and will re-upload all the clips even if I delete and re-install it. I want to keep using it, but I'm not sure how to fix my storage problem!

I used to love this app but it just doesn't seem to work properly anymore. It now takes ages to compile my clips into a video, and if my phone locks while it's doing it, it just stops compiling them and freezes. It's a shame because I love creating the videos, just takes ages now and breaks half the time.

Haven't been able to do anything because I keep getting the clipping error. I even tried turning off the hardware clipping feature I see in other reviews suggested by the makers and still get the error. Great idea had implementation.

I love this app. I've used it on my iPhone and now on my Note. Since the last update I cannot record my second through the app. Frustrating. UPDATE: I had an auto update from Samsung an now the app is back to my "sweet love" level. Loved and used the app since I saw it in the movie #Chef.

Won't save my snippets every time I try to upload them. Pretty useless now. Edit : glad my snippets now save but now I can't include photos on my freestyle time line. I've unistalled and reinstalled. Really annoying as now my video misses out on so much from the last few months the app hasn't been working.

I would like to be able to add videos back onto my phone with the proper date, though. I am also not able to manually rotate pictures. When I do it outside the app, it manages to rotate them incorrectly anyway.

This app is not able to save on sdcard . It takes up most of the space on my phone so I cant use other app . please make it able to store in SDcard! Otherwise this is great!

I think you should be able to log in so that if you break your phone or get a new one you have all of the information and days still on it! But I love the layout and since I have terrible memory this is nice to come back to and visit every day!

I loved this app for the first 3 months I used it. Now suddenly my snippets no longer show up. It will tell me "snippet for 05/10/17 has been saved," but it doesn't appear anywhere....it disappears. I've tried un-installing and re-installing the app, and also clicked off the "advanced clipper screen" under "other" - since it seems something like that has been recommended to others. I can't figure out what has gone wrong, except that I have a new phone (Google Pixel XL). I also have the latest version of 1SE, so don't seem to know what the problem could be. So disappointed b/c I loved this app. :(

The first ten videos I added were fine. I was very happy with the app. But one day, all the videos I added couldnt be played, they were added but instead of the video all i can see is a black square, cant even compile because it throws an error

This app used to work great. But, I went to compile a video of my daughter's first three years to show at her birthday and nothing. I turned off a setting that I have seen suggested and still nothing. Everyone was looking forward to watching this, so it was a real disappointment. Now I have a notification on my phone that I can't turn off that says compiling video. This has been "compiling" for over two days. The app used to work. So far, no tech support response except to know what kind of phone I have. Very frustrating

I have been making a video for the last 12 months to document the year long preparations for my wedding. I got married on saturday and would like to knit my clips together but there is no option to do it in the app. I have version 2.5.4 and there are no updates showing as available on my Play Store. How can I make my video??
