-- I've never used the app before. How do I start?
Tap the 'Install' button on the screen to download the app. Once downloaded, simply follow the instructions on screen. From there, all you'll need are your Nationwide account details or debit card and card reader and the app will help you finish setting up.

My app isn’t downloading
If your app isn’t downloading or seems to be stuck, to fix it:

1. Go to your phone’s settings and choose Apps > Google Play Store > Force stop
2. Then choose Storage > Clear cache
3. Try the update again.

I had to download the app onto a new device, and after entering all the required details, a technical error pop-up appears to either try again or check their status page ( status page reports everything is working fine). This happens several times. A week later, I tried again, and the same problem I called Nationwide was to make sure the details I entered were the same details they held on my online banking. Everything is identical to the details they hold in my online banking setup. ??

I can not recommend this app highly enough. I rarely get out because of numerous health issues, so the app is an absolute necessity for me. Extremely fast efficient, and the security is superb. On the rare occasions there are problems I can ring the bank and everything is sorted out extremely quickly. One very reassuring feature is if there are any dubious transactions or potential fraudsters, you're notified very quickly. Security is taken extremely seriously, which is very reassuring indeed.

I would give it 5 stars except that the search and filter will only go back 15 months which for some purposes is very restrictive. After that the only way to get transactions is go online and look up statements in PDF format and make notes instead of electronic data transfer. If only they would have a longer date range everything would be fine. Statements are OK but most people want filtered transactions over a date range.
