It's a great multifunctional app and the recent addition of biometric login is very good. However it would be nice for you to add a button that brings up the fingerprint authentication again as on my device I sometimes close the authentication by accidentally tapping outside the box (in the greyed out area). As a comp sci student I only see two ways to fix this: 1) add a button to bring up the authenticator by making use of loops. 2) make tapping outside of the authentication box unrecognisable so it doesn't close when you tap outside the box.
I'm having the same problem alot of people are having, app isn't recognising my postcode and i cant sign in even though it's correct and I am registered for Internet banking. I've only just joined nationwide and this is really making me regret my decision, it's an age ruled my smartphone banking and this has made it impossible. Any news on how to fix this or when it will be sorted would be nice.
Fails to accept non UK postcode when trying to register. Therefore useless. I see I'm not alone and others are also having the same problem having to re register following a new device or a reset. 4 months and many emails fails to get a suitable response from customer services or any action from the App development. Forced ro remove from all my devices as it will not register me.
Somewhat functional but horrible looking app. Why should you bother an Android user with mentions of iOS? Secondly, Material Design was created for a reason. Please remake the app the way an Android app should look. Edit: In new features you forgot to add that the app stops displaying accounts. Nice.
Nice to get the fingerprint recognition, still find the white theme too bright, it would be nice to be able to choose your own colour scheme. I think the running balance makes the transaction screen a bit busy and is completely pointless. Is it possible to have the option to turn it on or off?
Third update and review to reflect. The app is normally very good, but getting terrible at producing a credit card statement. 3 days from statement date and it still hasn't actually produced a correct statement showing balance etc. The only way I know it has been produced is the next statement date has moved on a month. The update frequency of statements and card transactions is dreadfully slow (Other providers are far quicker and more effective). And there is no option to directly contact customer services via the app. It just refers you to the phone lines through the normal web pages.
