Easy to use, but very short on features. Can't set up anything like standing orders or bill payments, have to log in on the PC for that which requires a card reader I can never find and a customer number I cannot remember and which isn't referenced anywhere else. Can't set them up over the phone either, and with dwindling numbers of branches as well it's making me rethink my choice of banking provider.
Great app, few features missing Downloaded the new app this morning and first thoughts are that it is sleek, clean, reliable and fast. The added functions are of great use and benefit to the user, and provide a more enhancing and valuable experience when using the app. I would like to be able to send a payment or transfer to someone I have never sent a payment or transfer to before. If I owe someone at work some money, I have to login via Internet Banking to set their account up - not convenient.
Good looking, quick and fluid app. It certainly has potential and I feel I mirror the same suggestions as below but there are important features missing. Most importantly and I'd imagine easiest to address: show the remaining balance alongside each transaction. It makes it far easier to manage money and you shouldn't have to login to the full website for this feature. Fingerprint login. Being adopted by a number of banks so far. Even tesco mobile banking had fingerprint login now. Android has had this feature for plenty of time the so time to get with the times I feel. A digital secure key. First Direct has had this for a long time now and saves carrying a card reader around. Incredibly useful feature for banks that insist on secure keys. You can then enable setting up new payee's from the app. It's a good start but needs work to become as competitive as other banking apps
This is a great app and fast but there are a few things I think would make it perfect. 1. Have a section that show pending transactions that are waiting to come out. 2. Transactions to appear quicker. 3. Along with having the transaction amount that came out have an amount below it of how much you had in your account at that time that amount came out. The last one is one I have missed since moving banks.
It's so stupid that have to always use the card reader in order to access the Internet banking. I sometimes forget and lose it and when I need it I leave it at home! They should improve this and if you have forgot it then there should be another way in like just a simple username and login! I'm moving banks anyway one that has less hassle when accessing my account online!!
Great but This app is great. Does everything I need it to, but would like to see fingerprint recognition in a future update. Also when paying credit card, it would be useful to see full balance to pay it off as well as minimum payment. Some of us don't have a good memory to remember it between screens!
